More Art Places

Did you know I have a Tumblr thing now? It's true. It updates every day with something quick, to make sure I keep drawing all the time - even if it's only some little sketching.

Does that mean I'm going to move to that fully? I don't know yet. It's possible, but for now, I'm going to keep this blog as well and see how things work out. We shall see what happens.

Happy Halloween 2015

More comic project

Been a tad busy, so the blog hasn't gotten an update despite things to show. Time for some art.

The barman:

Hex, a biplane pilot (who, yes, will have gloves, but I was a forgetful dingus):

Still trying to decide on a color scheme for this plane. References for the drawing itself include Classic Military Aircraft: The World's Fighting Aircraft 1914-1945, which I recommend if you're into that sort of thing. Also had plenty of google image searches, of course.

So far, these have been the best:

Buttons: Finished

Was a bit busy between the last couple of button sets, so here's a big update for all of them.

As per usual, process work under the cut.

Halfway point

Had to let my arm recover from helping out with some prop stuff on a film set, but now the third set of buttons is done:

As usual, process work under the break.

This year's Desert Bus buttons are now one third of the way complete.

It's time to kick my own butt

Yeesh, it's been a while since I dusted this poor thing off. Retail work really drains everything out of you. I suppose there's some good news there: I've moved! Quite a ways. Saved and saved, and now it's time to find a career rather than a job. Exciting.

It's also time once again for the Desert Bus Craft-Along! You know what that means.

It means buttons, that's what it means.
